The Infamous Twenty 20 Tournament now in its third year, 3rd August 2008

2008 sees the third season of the invitation Harvington Twenty 20 Cup Tournament. Taking part this year are Harvington, Anchor Lane Residents Round of Gras and defending champions Flyford Flavell.

With an exciting days play ahead of us the schedule of matches is as follows:

 10.00am  Harvington  v  Flyford Flavel
 12.30pm  Flyford Flavel  v  Round of Gras
 3.00pm  Round of Gras  v  Harvington
 5.30pm  Final    

Normal Twenty 20 Rules apply:

  • Batsman do not retire
  • Bowlers have a maximum of 4 Overs each
  • A front foot no ball provides a free hit to the batsman
  • LBW Rule applies
  • Minimum of 4 fielders within the circle 

During the group matches there will be 3pts for a win and 1pt each for a draw. If teams are tied they will be seperated by run rate.

The club is arranging for a PA system on the day, therefore if you are a player and would like some particular music when you go out to bat then contact the Tournament Organiser to arrange stuart.powell@harvingtoncricketclub.co.uk

There will also be a player of the Tournament Award going to the best player judged by the 3 Captains, this will be £30 plus a Trophy.
